The Southbrook Golf Club just South of town has 18 holes, weaving an established residential neighborhood and stretching into the quiet countryside beyond. Albion Ridges 27 holes of rolling hills, Whispering Pines wooded beauty and Kimball Golf Club's scenic course are all area favorites.
Venture to Kimball’s Powder Ridge Winter Recreation Area where fun for the entire family awaits. Downhill ski, snowboard and tube to your heart’s delight, then relax and warm up in the chalet. An entire day of fun can be spent at Powder Ridge! Here in Annandale, on the third Sunday of July, The Heart of the Lakes Triathlon is held. Widely known as one of the state’s largest and favorite races, HOLT welcomes almost 1,000 participants from around the country for this annual event.
